Audio Visual Collection
The Collection
The Library holds a small but growing collection of DVDs, videocassettes and audiocassettes. The existing collection of around 400 videocassettes is held near the Microform area, on Level 3 of the University Library. There are also a large number of videos of Spanish language films, used for teaching purposes. In addition, a small collection of Italian language audiocassettes is held. All these DVDs, videocassettes and tapes are separately listed in SAULCAT, the Library's online catalogue.
Most DVDs and some videos are now available on 3-Day Loan.
AV Equipment
Video and DVD playback equipment with integral earphones is provided in this area for viewing purposes. The remote controls for this equipment are available from the Service Desk during service hours.
